Starspeed Training are delighted to announce we have purchased an H145 D3 FTD3 to be based at our headquarters in Kemble. This represents a strong investment in our training school and the first H145 FTD to be available for dry and wet lease in the UK. It is planned to arrive during Q2/2024.

After 8 months of research, we are pleased to be working closely with Reiser Simulation and Training GmbH and RS Flight Systems GmbH to ensure the best quality product for our company.

This week, we were delighted to host a visit from Michael Weißenböck and Frederik Rommel with the delivery of the H145 desktop trainer – refreshments provided by Holly Elphick !

The Avionics Desktop Trainer is a fully interactive touchscreen emulator which is excellent for use during ground school, prior to and post simulator sorties, for standalone refresher training, and cockpit familiarisation.

It will be used during all our H145 courses and is also available to lease for any customer requiring cockpit familiarity, starts/stops, emergencies, refreshers (especially on Helionix) prior to tests and visits to overseas simulators.

The Avionics Desktop Trainer is available for hire with or without an instructor. You will need a relevant IOS certificate to use it, or training can be provided. For details please contact training@starspeed.co.uk.
