QUALIFIED MILITARY PILOTS (QMP)

If you are the holder of a military procedural helicopter instrument rating, training for the civilian IR will be required at the discretion of Starspeed's Head of Training.

Typically, this would require an assessment in the FNPT II to gauge the student's aptitude. This is generally followed by 3 familiarisation flights in the device and 2.5 hours in the aircraft. These hours are estimations only and the course length will depend on student progress. A Type Rating can also be provided if required.
